Just so you guys know the 16th is the cut off for round 4. You guys are still trying to play round 3. If we make it past DEA, I will not allow you guys to put us behind a week. So look forward to us playing our match by the 16th no later or you will be forfietting. I am sure DEA will feel the same way. I am not sure why the scheduling rules have been so laxed yet other rules have been followed. To me scheduling and playing by the cut off date is one of the most important rules to follow.

You guys should be done with this Round by today! Not next week!

the week after that is the finals. No way should anyone allow you guys to push back the finals. Everyone should get a week to prepare. As it is no one is going to get a week to prepare because of your team.

Hey how about ANZA/JA play next Friday at 12AM EST - this is doable for JA we have scrimmed them twice late night like that. I think they are mainly west coast. This time should be early afternoon like 2pm or so AU time on Saturday. This way we can play the winner on Sunday, if Anza wins we can play Saturday Night our time, sunday late morning early afternoon their time and if JA wins we can play sunday night.

Really depends on how heavy the flow is to be honest. Right now I am using both because I cant see how it is so hard for people to schedule a damn match. So the flow is heavy on this situation. All you are doing is making it harder on others and easier on yourself.

Being an "intercontinental comp" you will have these teething problem of time zones.

It's easy to say 8pm Wednesday night, but that would be 6am Tuesday for u guys which wont work.
So we don't have the flexability that you guys have.
Sat/Sun seem the most practical to work with.
Sunday morning seems to be most practical due to most having family/work and real life committments.

Maybe these things should of been looked at before the comp started.
Or at least to keep in mind for any further intercontental comps.

BOC is doing his best to organize this, keep in mind we are scattered over the country with a 4 hr time difference from the West of Aust to NZ, then to work with time zones 12 - 16 hrs behind that.

@ talent, i don't know how we are making it easier for us as we are the ones getting up from 6am on a Sunday and you guys will play at a reg time on a Sat night.

Phaethon, since I got dropped with setting this up can I have some information as in when (IF) we beat ANZA we have to play DFL/ls, to be honest getting our team to play two matches in one weekend is going to be difficult. We usually need a couple days notice to get our guys together and any time we have played late at night happened to be a random occurance of guys just coming online. So its never a guarentee I just need to know some deadlines, especially since it was not us that caused this first match to happen so late, so I do not think we should be penalized with limited time following it to schedule the next one.

I see two options - either the winner plays us the same day after this match happens or we just delay the tourney a week so everyone can get caught up. I think Talents concern is that we don't want to get into a position where we play this match and then have to play the final match on the same weekend. I understand why JA and ANZA don't want to be in that position either so maybe we should just delay the whole thing. This means II/STS will have to wait a week as well so they don't get that extra week of prep for the finals.

Ok as I said we were not the ones who held back the rounds and should not be forced into playing 2 rounds in one weekend, not because we are unwilling but likely our players will not have the time to do two.

Our satuday is your sunday correct? if we can get the time pushed back about 1 1/2-2 hrs which would start 11am(9pm est ours) your time sunday morning or maybe even 10am(8pm est ours) your time. its hard asking for a match at 7pm est which is only 4pm on the west coast and most of us have jobs and families to take care of first.
